Yes. The core (logging, 1,000+ exercises plus unlimited custom exercises, plans, analytics, Watch app) is free forever, and it's the whole logbook, not a trial. No ads, no set limits, no hidden fees, no selling your data. Premium adds AI workout generation, personalized insights, and muscle activity analysis: US$7.99/month or US$49.99/year (about US$4.17/month), starting with a 14-day free trial you can cancel in two taps. Prices shown are for the US store; other storefronts differ. Full breakdown on the pricing page. I make money from Premium, not from plastering ads over your rest timer.
Premium unlocks the AI brain: generate entire workouts just by describing what you want, get AI-powered fitness insights based on your history, and access muscle activity analysis to see what you're actually hitting. Think of free as having a great gym notebook, and Premium as hiring a coach who never sleeps and doesn't charge $80/hour.
On iOS, go to Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions > GoGAINZ, then tap Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > GoGAINZ, then tap Cancel. Your premium features stay active until the end of your billing period. No breakup fee, no guilt trip. I'll be here if you come back.
Absolutely. GoGAINZ works fully offline: gym basements, airplane mode, middle of nowhere with no signal. Your workouts save locally and sync to the cloud when you're back online. The only thing you need Wi-Fi for is the AI features, because the robots live in the cloud.
Oh, it works. Full app on your wrist, Apple Watch and Wear OS alike. Log sets, track rest, navigate exercises. Phone in pocket. Gains on wrist.
Yep! GoGAINZ can read and write workout data to Apple Health (iOS) and Google Health Connect (Android). It's totally optional. You choose what to share. Go to Settings > Health Integrations to set it up. Your fitness data, your rules.
Don't panic. Your gainz are not lost. Check that you're signed in with the same account on all devices and that you have an internet connection. Still stuck? Try signing out and back in, or the classic force-quit-and-reopen. If the problem persists, reach out via the Contact page and I'll sort it out faster than a drop set.
Not yet. Straight answer, because you'd find out anyway. CSV import from Strong and Hevy is the one thing I'm building right now, with Fitbod, Jefit and generic CSV to follow. Switching apps shouldn't mean losing years of receipts. Leave your email on the homepage and you'll get exactly one message: the day it ships.
Tell it what you want in plain language: "30-minute push day with dumbbells" or "full body, no equipment, I hate burpees." AI generates a workout tailored to your request and history. Review, tweak, hit start. Premium, because training the AI costs money, but at least it doesn't need a rest day.
Your data is yours. Period. All transfers are encrypted via TLS/SSL. I never sell your data, never share it with advertisers, and never use it for anything creepy. No ads means no ad-tracking. You can export or delete all your data anytime from Settings > Data & Privacy. It's a solo dev project, and I actually care about this stuff.
Your data is kept for 30 days in case you change your mind (I call it the "post-breakup grace period"). After that, your personal data is permanently deleted. Workout and session data may be retained in a fully anonymized form, stripped of all personal identifiers so there's no way to trace it back to you. Your identity and personal info are gone for good. Remember to cancel your subscription separately through your app store.
First, ew. Second, no worries. Everything syncs to the cloud. Your workout history is safe. Get a new phone, log in, and you're back in business.
You're basically a hero. Seriously, bug reports and feature requests from real users are gold. Hit the Contact page and send me a message. I actually read every single one, and I'll probably reply faster than your gym buddy texts you back.
