AI featuresPremium

For the days you show up without a workout.

Some sessions you know exactly what you are doing. Some you are standing in the doorway with 45 minutes, a rack of dumbbells and no plan. The second kind is what these are for.

Three tools, all Premium, all optional. GoGAINZ is still not a coach that tells you what to do every session. It is a logbook that can write you a session, or a whole plan, on the days you want it to.

You type

45-minute upper body. Dumbbells only.

You get
Exercise

Reps
Incline Dumbbell Press

One-Arm Dumbbell Row

Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Press

Hammer Curl

Not right? Say so in the same conversation: swap an exercise, make it four sets, cut it to half an hour. Save it when it looks right and start it from there. Nothing enters your logbook until you log the sets yourself.

Describe it. Get a session.

Type it the way you would say it out loud. "45-minute upper body, dumbbells only." "Leg day, quads and glutes, I have a rack." "Twenty minutes, no equipment, hotel room." What comes back is a full workout: exercises, sets, reps and rest times.

It builds against your logbook rather than against a blank slate. What you trained in the last couple of weeks, the body parts that are overdue, the exercises you actually reach for, plus your training profile: goals, experience, the equipment you have, the injuries you told it about. Fill that profile in first and the difference is obvious.

Or a whole split, not just one session

The AI Plan Generator works at program scale, and it builds from the same things the workout builder does: your recent training, your goals, your experience and the equipment you have. Describe the split you want and you get a plan of several training days that repeats: push/pull/legs, upper/lower, full body, whatever you asked for. Run it for a set number of weeks or leave it going indefinitely. It is a structure to follow, not a periodized block that reinvents itself in week four, and plans in GoGAINZ do not expire.

Your own history, read back to you

AI Training Insights work on what you have already logged: volume, how often you actually trained, the muscle groups you have been quietly skipping, the PRs you set and forgot about a month ago. It is the part of your logbook nobody scrolls back to.

They can land once a week, by email or push notification, on the weekday you pick. Each channel switches off on its own, and if you switch both off the insights are still sitting there when you open the tab.

It suggests. You decide.

Everything generated arrives as something you can argue with. Swap an exercise, cut a set, throw the whole thing away. GoGAINZ records what you lifted, never what it proposed, and nothing here nags you about a session you skipped or a plan you abandoned in week two. One practical catch: all three need a connection and a signed-in account, because the generating happens on a server rather than on your phone. Logging itself stays fully offline.

What is free and what is Premium

Free

No AI at all. The free tier is the whole logbook: logging, the exercise library, 100+ ready-made workouts, plans, records and analytics, phone and watch. You write your own sessions.

Premium

All three AI features, with the entitlement checked on the server rather than in the app. Premium also includes Progressive Overload, which is not an AI feature and never asks a model anything.

Premium is US$7.99/mo or US$49.99/yr after a 14-day free trial. Cancel in two taps. See what Premium costs.

Looking for your next weight and rep targets instead? That is Progressive Overload.

The AI features: common questions

Are the AI features free?
No. All three are Premium, and there is no AI on the free tier at all. Everything else is free forever: logging, the library, ready-made workouts, plans, records, analytics and both watch apps. Premium starts with a 14-day free trial and cancels in two taps.
What does it build the workout from?
What you typed, your training profile (goals, experience, available equipment, injuries) and what your logbook says you have been doing lately: your recent sessions, the body parts you have not touched in a while, the exercises you use most. It writes exercises, sets and reps. It does not read the weights off your logged sets and it will not put a number on the bar for you. The AI Plan Generator draws on the same inputs when it writes a split.
Can I edit what it generates?
Yes. You refine it by talking to it: swap an exercise, make it four sets, cut ten minutes off. When it looks right you save it, and from that point it is an ordinary workout in your library that you edit like any other.
Does it replace my training plan?
Not unless you want it to. By default you bring the program, and the builder is for the gaps: a day off-plan, an unfamiliar gym, a session you did not see coming. When you would rather be handed the program too, the AI Plan Generator writes the whole split. Neither is what sets your numbers: your set-by-set weight and rep targets come from Progressive Overload, which reads your last session and moves it forward without asking a model anything.
Which languages does it work in?
English and French are the two the app is built and tested in, so those are the two I will promise. The builder answers in the language you wrote your request in, and insights follow the language set on your profile. Other languages often come through fine, but they are not tested, and an untested promise on a marketing page is just a refund with extra steps.

For the days you don't have a workout.

The logbook is free forever. The AI features are part of Premium, which starts with a 14-day free trial.
